born in hanover, germany
after 10th grade i went to the uk
where i ended up staying for six years
got accepted at the
gemini school of illustration
and received a diploma with distinction
back home in hamburg i got
squeezed into a tank for a year
i embarked on a one-year course at
the animation-school-hamburg (a.s.h.)
this marks the year of my first published
illustration and the start of my career
i began teaching at the a.s.h.
founding member of the
illustratoren organisation e.v.
most of my work is done for
animated tv series and feature films
